Andres Segovia - Asturias

so at least I would expect that the music would touch me but it doesn't. After watching these videos where segovia destroys all these young students in his workshops I cannot discover a heart in this man neither. For me he is a rather tragic person, left behind by time passing by. John Wiliams and Bream really touch me when I listen to them and I dont' think of them in technical terms. They are also very modest persons.

Well don't just judge someone on technical ability alone. Cleanness and speed are not music

probably some guitar he had custom made for him in spain. U know how particular segovia was.

I really can't get a kick out of Segovia. I hear Wiliams and all the younger ones and I'm amazed but here I don't really get it. to me it sounds as if he's technically limited. Well forgive my ignorance, I'm new to classical music :)

what i love most about this is that my teacher keeps telling me not to keep my finger down on that B during , but i keep telling him that segovia does it

could someone please tell me what guitar model this is.. lol

i know, i meant that the fingers are short and its kinda hard to play the guitar with short fingers are'nt it ?

I love this version , .I play Asturias also bij myself, mostly fast ... but this is realy music...
