@xxyourmomx9 avenged sevenfold is the biggest poser band, they are gay, i have respect for their past drummer, but other than that they are not that good, and the guitar playing is nowhere near to as intense and good as this, and BTBAM is not mainstream like them

@CheaKevinMercer scales scales n more scales. once u have the sweeping technique down and u can do scales fast, then u get shit like btbam. after ayear they have come to grow on me but i still respect thomas erak and the fall of troy a lot more. putting everything elese aside, thomas sings n screams while doing it which is near fuckin impossible

Well said. That describes my transition from BTBAM tollerator to hardcore BTBAM fan. They are now my favorite band, but when I first heard them I could only listen to the intro of Alaska, the intro and ending of Selkies, etc. Now, I have all their albums and love all parts of all their songs, period, I honestly can't get enough of them! And I used to be just like the first two guys in this comment tree. In 2005, I would have agreed with them all the way. Now I beg them to give BTBAM a chance.
