You just taught me how DFD's work in 30 mins and after a couple of lectures at uni i still couldn't understand the whole process of DFD's. I wish you were my lecturer for System Analysis and Design I would be on a high distinction lol, you make things so easy to understand!

how i wish the computer science lecturer could be a little bit more colourful. just like you.
i would get through the whole course if our lecturer have their lectures recorded just like the way you did. Your explanation is detailed and straight to the point. loved it.

Excellent.... You were able to explain whole subject which i straggle to understand form 3 month ago. Thanks million.
Hey can you do a video on a dataflow diagram for a database.... or if not a video an example a level 1 diagram for an attendence system for this problem "an individual solution to design build and test a personal attendence system"
i understand how to do a DFD for an ecommerce system but not for this type of thing
thanks

@doctorwhofan01: In an attendance system, or any other type of systems, you need to know the system requirements in terms of inputs, outputs and processes. For example, a teacher entering attendance records would be a system input. The system producing an attendance record or sending an email to student warning them about excessive absence woule be system outputs.
If you cannot imagine the system and what it does, then you will never be able to solve the problem.

Thanks so much for the very clear explanation and diagram example. What software did you use to do the red lines and blue lines. I find this very helpful so we can document our DFDs for our presentation. Thanks in advance!!!

@MyDailyDiet -This is done in PowerPoint. I simply formatted the lines for clarity. I created an online tool for documenting the DFDs but its currently only for my students. I will share as soon as I make it public.
