@FrizziExRose you can still make money by trying hard and being smart. The only thing these "genius" people did was bring in new regulations to prevent fraud and unethical practices of business. You can not do what they did respectfully because that just wouldn't make sense at all.

I think it is an absolutely beautiful thing to know that I live in a country where if I work obscenely hard at something, and am smart about it, I can make a lot of money. And that is an ideal that I respect with all of my heart. But these Enron assholes abused it, and have damn near ruined it for everyone who would do it respectfully and ethically. I just hope that it isn't gone by the time I get into the market.

@SmartBrainification they didn't bring in new regulations, they reinstated the regulations we got rid of in the first place. We allowed them the key to the city without thinking of potential consequences. Not to say californians got what they deserved, but that they did allow themselves to be taken advantage of in the first place. They didn't take the roofies willingly, but they made them legal for enron to use.

The 9/11 attack was a way for the US gov to cover up its coruption within the financial system. In other words 9/11 was just another biger Enron. Its sad but true

Andrew Fastow said his LJM side deals were used to bailout Enron. That LJM was being funded by banks and many other investors. I just think Fastow was clever in persuading banks / investors to invest money into LJM. There excessive money obviously turned Fastow into greedy-male-whore.
