  • I love Firebirds infact if they would have came up wth a new retro muscle car I proubaly would have gotten that instead of the Challenger RT I am going to get. But to be Fair the T/A did get the jump off the line another race might have been a different outcome.

  • Well the mph says it all. Jump or not. The R/T ran that time and mph all night so stretch it out over a 1/4 mile and the TA would have driven away. The TA is my brothers from some of my other videos.

  • Thank you, as a owner of a 2000 T/A with some simple bolt ons and receipient of a lot of nay sayers and have been called a liar about me smoking a new challenger, I can defer the non believers to this has whipping from a car with 80 less hp..

  • I think we all know the LS1 in the FBodies are underrated!!! My brother also raced a C5 auto from a stop wheel to wheel up to 90 when they let up with the mods he has now ( I / E.)

  • If i walked my friends 500 hundred horse power mersedes benzs amg sedan from a dig over and over in my stock ls1 trans am... What chance does this Challenger have? Its funny to see decade old F-bodies walking the new cars.. 4th gen f-bodies are legendary, especially Ls1s!!!!

  • This is a little unfair don't you think? LS1 TA's are fast as hell stock never mind with a few simple mods, forget about it. Also they are much lighter than a Challenger. But oh well i guess if the Challenger was man enough to step up to the plate he can take his inevitable loss like a man too. I love the way the Challenger looks though

  • @stevefromPA I also recently surprised some "brotha's" who were overly proud of their challenger r/t. my bolt on ws6 walked away from them sideways. should have ran them for money now that I think about it...

  • Trans Am had a fall-start.!

  • @02RamAirWS6 one other thing to consider is SRT stiff suspension does not allow alot of weight transfer so launches are not easy at all, is it a 6spd if so its almost impossible to get a decent lauch with out a tire upgrade

  • @styylite Yeah they are and I did kill him at the tree. It was my 2nd time at the track and his 1st so our rx times both sucked. I had a .862 and his was a 1.3 so I beat him by about .45 at the tree and .6 at the end and had a slightly higher top speed. He does have his tuned with a cold air intake so it's still not that fast for what it is... bad ass ride though, nonetheless!

  • there much more capable then a 9.1 in the 1/8th stock

  • I have an 02 WS6 A4 that's bone stock other than a 3000 stall and have a good friend with an SRT8 Challenger. It's a sweet car but I beat him almost everytime we race.. he won a couple times due to my car getting sideways hitting 2nd and he went by me. He got a 9.1 in the 1/8th and I got an 8.5.... Nice cars but too heavy

  • bird took off earleir

  • Challenger is too heavy. I think it would have given your car more of a run if it were about 500lbs lighter. I have a '73 Roadrunner and the Challenger is pretty much the same size. Chrysler needs to shave some of that weight off.

  • trans am jumped, even got the penalty red light
