-
This is a dreat video!

Keep it up Gatorrock. There's no such thing as a bad Ray Price tune.
-
Love it! Can't help but wonder "where all" Ray had been--probably a seemingly never-ending tour.

Steve Bess on the shuffle...

Glip, you mean Ray at his best. The Danny Boy/For the Good Times/EZ listening Ray was, to quote Bill Monroe, No part of nothin.
-
This was filmed when Buddy Emmons was still co-owner of SHO~BUD with Shot Jackson. SHO- for Shot, and BUD for Buddy, co-founders of the Sho-Bud Steel Guitar company.
-
Beautiful! Now thats some down home country!!!
-
Country Ray at his best.

Thanks for posting this. I love how Ray is already singing deeper as early as 1962 and making it look so effortless. Now I know that's Buddy Emmons on steel, but who are the other Cherokee Cowboys backing Ray here? They're all great!

@jfrankley55 In addition to Buddy on Steel, That's Tommy Jackson on fiddle, and Pete Wade on guitar & high tenor harmony.
