  • you clean them every thousand rounds? i clean it every time after shooting no matter if its done 1000rounds or 50 rounds..

  • Is this a joke??? WAY WAY WAY WAY to much grease if you ask me your going to GUM up your weapon with that much grease since its going to be a dirt magnet!

  • @gshdrums Well you have to keep in mind that he's talking about his competition gun, where he could easily fire 1000 rounds in a day or two.

  • I can't carry in CA, so I just use Break Free CLP on a rag and wipe down everything when it's field stripped. I also squirt a couple drops on the frame rails. Many thousands of rounds later my Kimber still feels like a Swiss watch, and it keeps the finish on the exterior looking nice as well.
