I got the Minty Boost kit for Christmas, so I figured I'd video the finished product. The high pitched sound you hear when it's plugged in is normal and related to the inductor. It should go dissipate after more use. See the FAQ (ladyada.net/make/mintyboost/faq.html) for more info.

UPDATE: I wiggled the inductor around a bit, and it severely reduced the high pitched noise.

  • @xoanniex yes and yes there is videos of people building them

  • do you actually make all this like do all the circuitry , if so does this need soldering?
