  • To whom ever made this video Thank You so much. Mike was my father inlaw, my friend, and a hero. He inspired young and old to do more. I learned a lot from him.

I hope this inspires more people to get involved with and help kids to learn, because that was what it as all about for Mike. A smile on a students face or the pride they felt when they succeeded was all the reward he needed to keep doing this.

I'm gonna miss you Big Guy.

  • Thank you for the posting. Dad would have been proud of it. It gathers everything Dad loved about the FIRST program. It made us cry when we watched it. Thank you again for remembering my Dad and the work he has done for the kids.

  • Great video!

5 stars to Mike for doing what he did for FIRST and 5 stars for the people or person that created this video!

Every time I saw him at an event he always ALWAYS had his hands full, if he didn't have his hands full he was chatting with someone.

  • thank you mike i'v never met you but thank you

    but truly thank you

  • Mike is one of the most inspirational people I've met, whether we're talking about through FIRST or just in general. He's done so much for students, and he continues to inspire me today.

    We miss you Mike.

  • That is a truly inspiring video. While I don't think I've met Mike at any FIRST event, it is evident that he was a very giving man who dedicated much of his time to FIRST and its youth, and definitely contributed so much to the lives of others. Seeing this video makes me want to celebrate his life, along with the lives of all FIRSTers.
