"The Patriots Jet Team is the only civilian-owned aerobatic jet team in America.
The Patriots Jet Team flies in air shows across the country. The amateur aerobatic team is the only one of its kind flying decommissioned MiG-17 and L-39 fighter jets. The planes were bought from the Czech Republic.
The Blue Angels' mission is to enhance Navy and Marine Corps recruiting efforts and to represent the naval service to the United States, its elected leadership and foreign nations. The Blue Angels serve as positive role models and goodwill ambassadors for the U. S. Navy and Marine Corps.
