Ellen and Jo Harvelle Tribute (5.10 Spoilers)

R.I.P. HARVELLES

Okay here are my few cents about the episode and remember that you don't have to agree with me *takes a deep breath*:

1) Dean is going to feel so much more broken now--Ellen and Jo BOTH sacrificed themselves for him.

2) The kiss between Dean and Jo was NOT a romantic, "I'm in love you" kiss...Eric has spent the ENTIRE Supernatural Series trying to point out that Ellen and Jo are part of Dean's somewhat broken family--that they are very dear to him. He loves them, but it's familiar--think about that very dear friend of yours that you would die for, that would also die for you in a heartbeat. Jo was very close to Dean and he did love her--he just wasn't in love with her. He was broken that she sacrificed herself to save him from that Hell Hound and he didn't want her to be taken from her...but he was not romantically interested in her. Even though he was kinda hitting on her before...come on people...Dean hits on anything with legs. Besides, that last night on Earth speech was last given before he banged Anna, aka Angel Whore, so...it's not romantic at all. *shudders*

3) How DARE Jo DIE in ELLEN'S ARMS?! Samantha Ferris ripped my heart a new one and Alona pulled off everything perfectly. Those two are beautiful people, and they made us cherish their characters to pieces...quite literally seeing as how they exploded.

4) Crowley, Lucifer and Castiel were DAMN sexy last night, right? Even though I was bawling my eyes out, Lucifer managed to crack all sorts of jokes that had me giggling a little through my tears after Jo and Ellen met such tragically moving deaths.

5) I'm not sure Meg 2.0 is dead--Anna isn't. What do those two have in common? Oh yeah: we never actually SAW them die...*sighs*

6) Eric is a sadist who is pointing and laughing right now...he killed people off, brought in the Angel of Death, and now we have to wait for January 21st for more...and I REALLY don't expect the boys to get a happy ending because this is ERIC KRIPKE we are talking about! For those of you that follow his interviews and talk to him at conventions, and listen to him at conventions I think you agree with me: his idea of true heroes (which he has said time and time again that Dean is to him) are ones that sacrifice everything, have nothing, and eventually go out heroically...so...I'm not seeing a happy ending here...
