This is an intro sequence to Flashback Legends - a GBA follow up to Flashback: The Quest for Identity and Fade to Black, that was being developed by Adeline for Delphine Software International around 2002. The project was cancelled before its completion, but an early beta exists with all 16 levels intact.
A resistance fighter had been lost on a jungle planet after detecting Morph (the alien race) presence, and agent Conrad Hart has to rescue him...

It looks more like a child's version of Flashback; It would have looked more charming if they had used the same vector animation tech used on the first one.

THE HORROR. You could've said that Adeline made this as a sequel to Relentless and it'd be just as believable.

I've heard rumors about a Flashback remake but I don't think it will ever actually happen. Recently dusted off my Sega Genesis copy and have been enjoying it!
