Two handmade slingshots made by famous shooters

Two major shooters have given samples of their work to The Slingshot Channel. Both slingshots are made out of wood, but they are very different in style! This video shows how wide the range of very good slingshot design really is.
The first featured slingshot is made by Baumstamm, a German, and it is now equipped with the thinnest, fastest rubber on the market (Thera Band Tan).
The second presentation shows a slingshot made by Jaybird, a US citizen. He participates in tournaments and his slingshots are very unique. This one had been carved specifically for the hands of the shooter, and it fits like a well worn glove.

So multiple thin sheets shoot faster than a single sheet of comprable thickness? What about vs surgical tubing as that is easier to find than sheets of latex?

@HachiZenki Surgical rubber works, but is very slow in comparison to thin, layered latex.
