Just another brewing video as requested. There's not much more I can do with a beer kit. There is, however, additional information in this video that may answer some of your questions.

  • Great video Craig. Not being picky because I think you should say it how you like. Also my announciation, pronounciation and general presentation is a bit sloppy, so I am not speaking from any almighty viewpoint. But... It's written 'wort' and pronounced 'wert'. Being dyslexic, this type of thing drives me mad. Like 'enough', 'plough', though etc. Or 'lead me until I've been lead' or 'read it until it is read'. It's a ridiculous language we have isn't it?

    CHEERS!!

  • Alcohol prices in Canada are really high, this is the very reason I want to make my own.

  • @zamora721

It's actually very easy! Thanks to Craig, I made my first kit beer two weeks ago. Drank my very first one tonight and it is delicious! If you just use the kit, the whole process will take no longer than an hour. The worst part is paying the money to buy the kit, but soon it will pay for itself lol. You're right though, the downer is the waiting part, and if you want beer you will still have to buy it, but brewing your own is much less costly. Hope you decide to try it, good luck!

  • As watch this video drinking a shot of Tequila (that my aunt brought from Mexico) and a corona with salt & lime.I realise that the only time i think about brewing my own beer is when i'm unemployed and have to use coins(pennies).Because when i have money why wait 2 or 3 weeks for beer, when it takes 5 minutes to go to the store. But the videos are really very entertaining, and i think i will try to brew my own beerjust for the satisfaction of doing it....BUT IT LOOKS LIKE A LOT OF WORK

  • u'r right about the starter's hobby man. I'm about to do same with tobacco. Yeah well, tobac=cancer... I know the riddles on that. But, it's cancerous only since the 'med-corp-govt" got involve(with bleach).Anyway,I've stumble here arond lookin fr a cheap flea repellent fr my dog, and found ways to cut on taxes;))U.S. "con-citoyens" (contributers in french) won't understand, and others arond globe too... hey, we are con, with religs and taxes, end of story.

    Great clips u have btw;)

    Peace

  • Hey Craig, do you know of any good chemical-free method of sanitizing equip. ?

  • Craig, thanks for this great info...!!! I've costed the ingredients out in UK cost (although I'm a South African based in the UK) and I should be able to source the ingredients for 29 pence a UK pint, where the standard beer here costs £3.00 + in Herefordshire pubs nowadays... It's summer and time for loads of Barbeques . . . .

  • I say wort like it is spelled too craig. I'm with ya!

I have heard people say wert too, and I will find out why. I'll let you know when I find the reason. Cheers!
