Pokemon FireRed - Catching Articuno

On the way to cinnabar island, if you surf from Fuscia city, you'll end up on the seafoam isles, where you have a change at catching the legendary bird, Articuno.

Although the catch rate is the same as Zapdos, everytime I try to catch Articuno is a big pain, as you can see in the video.
In the begging I was trying to catch him with pokeballs, but its not a good idea, and even with ultraballs I had a hard time.
The important thing is I caught him.

The main rules to catch pokemon aply here, but just in case you forgot here they are:
- weaken the pokemon as much as you can;
- inflict the pokemon with a status condition, best being sleep, second best being paralysis;
- spam the pokemon with the kind of balls you want
