Beverly Dobrinsky Interview - Ukrainian Canadian Musician

This interview was done in Vancouver, Canada in the spring of 2007 by Don Goodes (Gudz-Moroz).

The title "Holding On and Letting Go" referes to the way Bev is able to comes fromBeverly talks of how she came to lead the Slavic soul band zeellia (www.zeellia.com), her influences and her ideas about identity and the immigrant perspective.

Included is footage of Bev playing with Zeellia at the Vancouver Ukrainian Hall in 2003, as well as singing two traditional Ukrainan folk songs and one English and Ukrainian song accompanied on the hurdy gurdy at the "Last Best West..." conference in Kamloops, 2007.
