  • Serious question: why did you stop posting so many videos/all the awesome coverage? I feel out of the loop.

  • @alwaysasleep I didn't announce anything here so you're not really out of any loop! I stopped doing videos a couple of years ago since I started writing for another site. I don't do that anymore either.

  • are u back?

  • @espertempo Nope, just posting videos occasionally on new stuff I buy.

  • hey, is the bettery life shorter when you use ubuntu? i want to buy this notebook, and going to install maverick, but there is rumour that ubuntu uses too much power than windows. this makes me doubt. I m going to buy macbook instead.

  • ubuntu, lol. BTW, all hardware working? On my like netbook(11.10) t.pad scrolling and m.touch can't work. Fine review.

  • that hinge design concerns me........

plastic external hinges.....not promising. the screws might be stronger, but if that plastic breaks on that hinge....goodbye display.

  • hey where did you buy it from? and when is it coming out in america? or even better in europe cause i am from europe i want this laptop so bad!

  • I'm almost shocked this is real. The current generation U36 with the same processor and dedicated switchable graphics is the same price yet, if you're right, the i7 one with the 2620m is about 1200 dollars less than any U36.

This, coupled with out of stocks of most U36 laptops recently makes me smell a refresh.

  • Of course it would better on Ubuntu :) why use anything else ;)

  • Hey, great review vid! Nice quality too. Thumbs up. :)
