Greatest Misconception 4: Black people are stupid

Perhaps one of the most commonly believed stereotypes, black people are stupid and less intelligent than whites. What a load of garbage. There is no genetic inferiority coming into play here, rather the consequences of racial discrimination and oppression.

Btw, if you were wondering about Ota Benga's teeth, he filed them down when he was younger into sharp points.

There are mountains of scientific studies that consistently show that blacks have a low IQ. Do you have any proof that blacks are of equal or greater IQ then whites? You claim that these studies are false, but, that is just your opinion with out proof. And how are these studies a example of white supremacy when they all show that east asians resulted in having the highest IQ?

That's like grouping humans together based on what kind of earwax they have, it's arbitrary. Like for example, if you are a racist, you already believe that blacks are inferior, so you will assume the conclusion is correct and then cherry pick evidence to support it. That's not how it works. You look at the evidence, then draw conclusion from that, and there is no verifiable evidence that supports what you are suggesting.

I stand in support of most of what has been presented here.

I think there has been and in some places there remains exploitation of some social/economic groups of others.

There are negative self reinforcing activities it is in our collective interest to work on as a larger community, but at some point the local community is responsible for it's own dysfunction, and must build it's own solutions or face its end. I certainly don't mind helping but neither would I want to waste my own efforts.

Lack of education is by far the most glaring cause of the inequality in respective population's performance in the job market and academia.

Social prejudices are not to be discounted though. Far too many people are still treating coloured people different than they treat whites.

MY claim is that this inequality in opportunities are also the primary cause of the differences in IQ and SAT test scores. IQ tests are geared towards people who have been educated.

Im glad you pointed out in the end the problems with the culture. I have wonder for a long time how we can change the culture of the poor. White too, all cultures of poor people promote a negative cycle of poverty and violence. Some of the problem stem from the need for respect and glory. This leads them to make poor financial decisions and buy expensive cars and jewelry that shows off the wealth they do have, instead of investing it in truly valuable items. But how do we change this?
