Well there are several Marathons held all over the world but the most famous one is the Philadelphia Marathon. For this years marathon 20,000 runners participated in it. Philadelphia Marathon is organized every year since 1954. It is hosted by the city of Philadelphia in Pennsylvania. The Philadelphia Marathon is always held in November.
The Marathon started at 7 AM on Sunday, November 22. The starting location of the marathon is 22nd Street & Benjamin Franklin Parkway. At the start of the race temperature was 40s & when the marathon finished, it was between 40s & 50s. The marathon certified course is 26.2 miles, Mayor Nutter started off each wave & everything seemed well organized. Like in every marathon there were a good number of water stops too & in three different places GU was handed out.
