Rhea was a premium foal at inspection
Dutch mare
by the rare Gelderlander stallion Patrick
by Dutch mare Gifted Feet.
The pure-bred Gelderlander stallion, Patrick, stood at stud in America and was a show jumper at the international level. In the American rankings of sires in international dressage, he is in the top-ten and is second of the KWPN-stallions. He was only outnumbered by Roemer, a KWPN-approved stallion bred in Germany. Patrick reached the age of 25 years and could have contributed to the excellent increase of Gelderlander bloodlines. Patrick was one of the last Gelderlanders, the base breed of the Dutch Warmblood, in the world. Famous for the quality of his mares, Patrick remains a huge influence on Dutch breeding in North America. In 1999 he was in the Top Ten Stallions List published by the USDF for offspring results. This progeny continue their success in show rings all over the country and will carry out his legacy for years to come.
Rhea stands 16 hands and has wonderful elastic gaits, temperament and perfect confirmation. She is sound and a nice riding mare. She has been re-bred for the third time to our KWPN stallion Urbanus (Sire Polansky) for April 2008 foal. The foal is also for sale.
