Jesus, what's wrong with everybody? The band is/was centered around Carl AND Pete's songwriting, and it's just unfair to say that Carl isn't entitled or whatever to play these songs. Yeah fair enough Pete is a vital part of their success and he's a fantastic songwriter, but just remember that it's Pete's drug problems are preventing a Libertines return.

They should not use the name 'The Libertines' when without Pete. they are all talented musicians but we all know that whole The Libertines success was built on Peter as he has that irremarkable charisma and talent.

Pete 's got kicked out of the band because: 1 he was the star of the band; 2 Carl/the band wanted more money and more celebrity;
His intoxications came right on time and there was no burglary from Pete to Carl.
