Exploring Terraria: I

Terraria is a neat little game available on steam right now, following alongside the, I suppose "genre" minecraft set for itself it seems to do a lot of things minecraft doesn't. This intrigues me.
SO I DECIDED TO PLAY IT.

I hate people constantly comparing this to minecraft. Minecraft is about survival and building. This is about adventuring.

@yandroskhaos I understand that, but surely you have to realize that people obviously are going to do the comparison, it's inevitable. At the outset they look like very similar games and that is what people are going to see at first.

Notch just destroyed minecraft w/ the newest patch 1.6.4. There's a lot of pissed off people right now, cuz half of their stuff doesn't work anymore

FUCK! You were so close to naming him Howard Goodall. I would have loved to see Howard Goodall explore the depths of the underworld.

I heard a small world is already ridiculously large. Dunno what choosing a large world actually does for you.

Along with Minecraft obviously, this game reminds me a lot of Zelda II.

It does look very good, I might pick it up some time soon.

Yes, Terraria. This game is very good..I have personally reached the "endgame" but am looking forward to the new content that the developers will add. Plus, playing in multiplayer is quite fun if you find a nice group of people.
