  • W thought we might try a different piece this year (only joking we value our life) but watch out for us on the way in as well with a new piece this year

  • National Emblem is not the easiest to play. Back in the 1980s when Murton had a much larger band, they used to play a great old march "Punjab". I have never heard it since. It sounded great with 4 trombones across the front of the band

  • would you believe we actually pulled punjab out of the library on Monday night so there's a chance we might play it on Saturday

  • always a good day given by murton, i used to play for them, one of the most entertaning bands especially on the way out when they start playing hutenannie out side the county hotel, Look forward to seeing them agian this year MCC ho
