@taiyakiuser There are only a couple or three series about the war of 1492 - at least in Korea. This one, a less-famous 90's one, and.. probably a few more but not recently. First I admit that this series is a bit too nationalistic . and more, True, korean dramas focus more on Yi Soon Shin's victories than the defeat of the King's Army. So what's the problem? Japanese movies would also focus on Japanese victories. Quite natural.

@HamZang1124 most of these Korean-made war movies which I have seen until now were adopting the almost one-sided way of drawing, even though Japanese Allied army occupied most of whole the Korean land and beat up noobs of your country :)

against a superior force in number and short range warfare on land...Japanese superior rifles against bows and arrows...there was no chance that chosun army can thwart the superior enemy.
the only bright hope was for General Yi to train a navy with little funding to fight to defend this small country..against the onslaught of might of japanese invasion..? if we focus on that there is a lesson for me...against a superior force..Sun TZu : know thy self and thy enemy as yourself..you will win
