@JuneMarieRawFood We have found that every home location is good in its own way. Speaking of college, our 1st daughter will graduate this year, so we definitely know about costs and good for you that you have your goals set in the right direction for your girls.

because of the economy and my other beliefs i raised my girls to know how to work hard have natural fun and put college before boys and all three are doing wonderfully but sometimes I think I protected them too much I kept them in private school during high school

@JuneMarieRawFood That's not protecting them too much. In fact, you still have to watch what's going on even in private schools (as I'm sure you're aware), but it sounds like they have been in a very fine learning environment : )
