This is one of those rare occasions when a boy band actually has talent... this guys as musicians and entertainers had the chops.. and this is pop.. just listen to that bass line..

IVE got the DVD too. I think the problem here is the editing...inasmuch as the timing of the cuts and selection of angles is not so hot in areas. I read years ago that before the footage that became ARENA was shot that they had filmed something in the UK that they we rent happy with. Certainly Simon's moves had developed quite a bit over what we are seeing here. Dancing lessons?

Buy the album off of Itunes, for a llive album the audio is exceptional. Fans of Andy will love how the guitar tracks have been enhanced.

@infindebula unfortunately, the overall DVD quality is not very good. I just bought it last week and was pretty disappointed with the quality. The video is really gritty and the audio is muffled. I am surprised that they did not enhance these for the DVD.
My back-up DVD that I made myself for Depeche Mode's Hamburg 1984 concert from VHS is much better quality! So, honestly, I am baffled...
But... overall, I am happy that I bought the DVD b/c I really wanted this concert which is amazing!
