ENJOY: The map of Tigray Republic, crafted in 1976 in Dedebit.

In 1976, the TPLF (Woyanne) crafted its Greater Tigray Manifesto. The manifesto called for transforming the northern Ethiopian region of Tigray in to an independent country through expansionist policies. For Greater Tigray to become a reality, TPLF decided to control Ethiopia and systematically appropriated lands from neighboring regions of Gonder, Wollo & neighboring Eritrea.

  • @BahreNeGash. MENGISTU WORKU is how you spell his name!

He is an honourable courageous HERO of all Ethiopians!

But you are nearly his age and you are a old rotting ascari banda who spends 24/7 bleeding jealousy of Tigray!

You are NOT WORTHY TO COMMENT ON THIS PAGE!

The sight of LEGENDARY ETHIOPIANS LIKE MENGISTU makes little kimalam flea ball agamidos like yourself MELT IN PAIN!

    ETHIOPIA FOR EVER!

  • @Worku62

    Agame,

WHY SPOIL THIS MEMORIAL VIDEO FOR YOUR TIGRAY MANIFESTO?

Sure, feeling inferior to Ethiopians & Eritreans, you Tigries/Agames will NEVER have the courtesy, even for a dead super star.

Therefore,,, While I'm NOT EXPECTING you to respect, honor & celebrate the life of a super star, Menghstu Workie, EXPOSING your wicked sadist TIGRAY inferiority complex to visitosrs of this video is a very significant achievement.

Therefore, keep bleeding your heart out for ALL Ethiopians to enjoy.

  • @BahreNeGash. YOU HAVE BEEN EXPOSED!

Your an old 60-70 year old bag of arthritic bones who should be in a retirement home!

At your age i will be happily married with children. NOT BLEEDING MY HEART OF ITS JEALOUSY TOWARDS ETHIOPIA 24/7!

    SHAME EPIC SHAME!

The Greater Tigray agenda suffered a setback when Woyanne went to war with Eritrea in 1998. Woyanne had to scramble and get Ethiopians to support the war by trying to falsely present itself as an Ethiopian nationalist group.

The Woyanne's war with Eritrea caused split inside the organization's top leadership putting the final nail on the coffin of Greater Tigray manifesto.

Mengistu Worku retired in 1972. Correct me if im wrong but you enjoyed watching him in your childhood. So if my calculations are correct, you were born in the 1950's/1960's and you're in your 40's/50's and you spend 24/7 on Youtube posting hateful comments on Ethiopian videos?

    That is very pathetic.

  • Menigstu Worku, you were an excellent Ethiopian athlete.

    R.I.P.

  • Man, what a very sad day & very sad story.

In my childhood growing up in Asmara, I always wanted to be Menghistu Worku.

When ever the Giorgis-Football Team, came from Addis Abeba to play in Asmara for Ethiopian National Cup, the FIRST & ONLY PLAYER I CHERISHED TO SEE was Menghistu Worku playing with style.

I"m very sad to see my childhood football star, Menghist Worku, pass-away.

RIP & Thank you for ALL the joyful times in sports, Menghistu Worku,

    Your admirer from Asmara, Eritrea.

  • Ethiopia lost a great son. While kicking a ball, I always wished to be a player like Mengistu. I believe many who saw Mengistu playing for Saint George used to see him as a role model. It is sad many of those great people are leaving and therefore wondering if there are any new talents following in their footsteps. I am hopeful there are and the memory of those great people will live forever. May God rest Mengistu's soul among Saints!

  • Rest in peace
