Sorry, I didn´t record the first part. I downloaded the HyperCam program when I had already finished the sketch.

This is Almirah. She´s a lioness, and she´s one of my characters! This is me drawing her reference sheet.

    ...lines, you need to lock the opacity of the layer. To do this, select the layer. In the layer box, you should see the word "Lock:" followed by several little icons. Select the one farthest to the left, right next to "Lock:".

    Now, you can color on your coloring layer, and the color will only work where you've already colored. If you need to modify the selection (to clean it up) just unselect that icon so the opacity is unlocked. Hope that helps! <3

    Well, once you've completed the lineart, use the magic wand tool and select outside the lineart. Then go to "Select" then click "Inverse". Then, to make sure the selection won't go past the lines, go to "Select/Modify/Contract" and choose 1-3 pixels depending on the thickness of the lineart. Now,make a new layer below the lineart, and color it all in one solid color. You can deselect the selection now. To make sure you don't go past the...

    I struggle with getting accurate shading. I've been practicing in my sketchbook though!
