This week Anne-Marie demonstrates a project developed by Paula of PJ Soaps (http://www.pjsoaps.com).
The clam shell soap project is the most advanced melt & pour project the Soap Queen has demonstrated thus far. But the great thing about this project is that you can't mess it up! This isn't one of those neat and tidy techniques, the more varied and irregular your soap is, the more it will look like a real clam shell. Bramble Berry offers a kit with all of the ingredients you need to make this soap. http://www.brambleberry.com/Kits.aspx#grpSWIKIT1 or buy the real thing from Paula at http://www.pjsoaps.com

  • whoo i just did it came out beutifull its took me a whole 3 hours to make though it was hard

  • @iloveraina9 Now that you've figured out how to do it, I'm sure your next batch will go much faster!

  • hi Anne i want to ask a question to you if you will reply me than it will be very very helpful to me what is that acid which is the best skin cleanser which can remove dead skin form the face in soaps and cosmetic cream as well

    \my email id is

    sejalchauhan21@yahoo.in

  • @surilyskala I'm not sure what's best - what kind of skin cleanser you use kind of depends on your personal preference. I never use soap on my face, and I'm always trying out new recipes and cleansers.

  • can you brake the soap mold im scard that i will brake the mold???

  • @vascheergirl18 Yes, if you flex a plastic mold too much you can break it. So always apply slow gently pressure and remember you aren't pushing the soap out just breaking the air-lock so that the soap can slide out.

Also, if you put your soap in the freezer to help pop it out easier remember that the cold plastic is more brittle and can easily break.

    Happy Soaping!

    Anne-Marie

  • how is ur soap not hardeing while ur doing other steps?

  • @polymerclayfreak No, melt & pour soap can be used immediately - unlike Cold process soap which needs to be cured for 4 to 6 weeks.

  • Those are gorgeous!!!!

  • Does M&P soap have to be cured like CP?
