I enjoy a good bit of compression as well, especially for a bit more oomph - as you say. Good for tracks like this that are meant to be heard on a dance floor but for personal listening a good dynamic range never hurts.

@chasepw133 You are very right now that i think more about it. It definitely isnt neglected. Wether it is abused is not really up to us. I personally like the master compression turned up a little too high. But not all of the time cause it dirties up the sound too much and that gets old quick. It definitely helps a track get more aggressive.
