--
After all, everything'd been said and done
I feel, I feel better now
Come away, lay your hands and rest and close your eyes
say a prayer for those who've gone.

It's hard, it's hard,
It's hard, it's hard.
To live, to live,
To live, to live.

It's hard, it's hard,
It's hard, it's hard.
To live, to live,
To live, to live.

It's hard, it's hard,
it's hard, it's harder
Than it's ever been before.
Things that used to comfort me,
don't comfort me anymore.

After all, the children being born into
a time of searching for some glory
And the lie's still repeating through the years
Dulce et Decorum Est Pro Patria Mori

It's hard, it's hard,
It's hard, it's hard.
To live, to live,
To live, to live.

It's hard, it's hard,
It's hard, it's hard.
To live, to live,
To live, to live.

It's hard, it's hard,
it's hard, it's harder
Than it's ever been before.
Things that used to comfort me,
don't comfort me anymore.

But you can't spend your whole life waiting for god,
to kiss you.
You can't spend your whole life waiting for god,
to kiss you.
Can't spend your whole life waiting for god,
to kiss you back.

Come on, come on, come on, back.

It's hard, it's hard.
It's hard, it's hard.
To live, to live,
To live, to live.

It's hard, it's hard,
It's hard, it's hard.
To live, to live,
To live, to live.

It's hard, it's hard,
it's hard, it's harder
Than it's ever been before.
Things that used to comfort me,
don't comfort me anymore.

But you can't spend your whole life waiting for god,
to kiss you.
You can't spend your whole life waiting for god,
to kiss you.
Can't spend your whole life waiting for god,
to kiss you back.

Come on, come on, come on, back.

Kiss you back, kiss you back,
Kiss you back, kiss you back.

  • Does anyone know when her next album is coming out?

  • Far just came out in 2009, so I imagine there won't be an entirely new album for a while.

  • Though really, Regina can just throw these existing live recordings on a CD tomorrow and I will gladly pay for it. :P

  • i figured out how everyone who smokes can quit.....first....put out that smoke.....then when ya feel like another.....listen to a song by Regina.....and you'll get addicted to her instead....hopefully like i did....is she really from earth?...or from heaven.....

  • "you can't spend your whole life waiting for god to kiss you back."

such a beautiful, true, bittersweet statement. it has so much meaning behind it - i can't even comprehend how much love i hold for regina.

  • @ZebraSpots19 get "keep it" (look it up on google). When you get it there will be a button on your tool bar and any you can download any youtube video by just clicking on it. You download the 480p mp4 version so it doesn't take up too much space on your ipod. After you do that, just drag the file from downloads to itunes like you do with your music.

  • Is there any way to get this on my ipod?

  • this song and the poemits basedon make me cry everytime i hear/ read them... two amazingly talented atrists combined into one breathtaking piece

  • God kissed her and blessed her with overwhelming talent.

  • @annalizfell latin is pronounced the way you pronounce italian and derivatives. Like sicilian, sardinian, tuscan, neapolitan etc...cause that's the latin world.

  • Classical Latin had hard c's not soft c's as you suggest, therefore dolkay. @skatapoopy

  • @MariaAmeliaMarie it would be DOOLSAY in classical Latin. It sounds Italian in Medieval/Church Latin

  • @MariaAmeliaMarie Oh, okay. I just thought so because in traditional Latin the 'C's are always hard. But oh well, Regina is still amazing so I guess it doesn't really matter :)

  • @annalizfell

Actually, she pronounced it correctly according to the rules of church Latin(:

  • she pronounced 'dulce' wrong, but she's so amazing it doesn't even matter :)
