Check out the single payer system Tawain has. It makes you wonder how Americans can be so arrogant to condescend when talking about other countries, especially when they have a better health care system then we do.

Lets make it so the people can, opt out of the one person pay system on their tax form, but this will prevent them from using the system. They will have to use the private health care provider. This will give people choice and provide some competition for the private health care providers and the one payer system

This would be fine except 1/2 of the answer is not an insurable event. An insurable event first, is very unlikely to happen; second, will come without warning; and third, is not something the person insured ever wants to happen. It doesn't apply to Routine Health Maintenance! But that's how it's been SOLD TO US since the HMO's took over in '75. Give access to all the Fee Schedules of PPO Networks and Savings accounts like risk pools with the single payer model. But 2 Tiers. What do you think?
