  • Rosio. It is a sad story but Lindsay is still with us. The lesson here is the importance of taking care of your disease. If you do as you should you should live a long and healthy life. God bless

  • I have Type 1 diabetes, I was diagnosed last summer at the age of 17. I've been struggling to keep it under control, But I am Failing. I'm Scared. My father side has a High risk of Multiple Heart problems, Like Heart attack, Stroke and others. How do i get my self too do what i have to everyday? I'm Tuff and I know i am because i was starting to go into a coma after 3months of sickness i finally called up my Mother during a Vacation too California telling her that I've lost 30pound and im dieing

  • I was diagnosed 9-26-97 - I go through months of burnout right now I am doing great since I got my minimed insulin pump. After I almost lost my battle with the omnipod I went through a year of burnout it almost took my life too many times. The FDA should NEVER have approved it.

But your story gives me hope- If you got through it so can I

    take care god bless

  • Dear Lindsay and family, Thank you so sharing your story. My daughter Sammie also has Type 1 and suffers from neuropathy and gastroparesis. Sammie and I will pray for you in your fight against this horrible disease.

  • Lindsay and I have known each other for about 6 years now, going back to 2002. Lindsay actually took it upon herself, when nobody else did, to make sure that I walked with someone when we both were bball homecoming candidates & cemented our friendship that continues to this day. However I never knew how close I came, to almost never being able to give back. Lindsay...if you see this...you will always be someone that even I can look to for inspiration when I need it. Thanks,

    Jeremy Moses
