Tyne and Wear Metro-Metrocar 4074 and 4087 being decoupled and coupled at St. James
One of the cabs had a general fault so the train was decoupled on platform 2 and coupled on platform 1 so the cabs at the end were fine.

  • at st james the tunnel continues but where does it go?

  • @TheYazoo321 It was origionally built for an extention to the West End of Newcastle. Platforms 1 and 2 would have gone to the West End and platform 3 (Now sealed off) would have been a terminus. The tunnels are now only used as an emergancy exit to street level

  • 2:31 who made that announcement

  • I don't know...sorry...probably the station assistant
