this image is amazing for youtube, id love to see it direct from the camera without compression. i think im getting this camera in a few weeks, keeping my fingers crossed!:D

No, I have uploaded 24p videos and the smoothness hasn't changed. YouTube keeps your frame rate.

looks like a nice camera.
thanks.

I watched both videos. There is a difference between the two. I will have to check into this. Thanks for the information.

Um, I don't know where I heard it... you can tell the difference. It's not too apparent with live action but it's really drastic in stop motion and other animations.
I did a quick search and came up with this video: watch?v=Vc_PU3D3QNE
Watch the difference between the version on youtube and the one on his site (see that video's description).

Where did you get this information? I know that youtube compresses the video, but I do not think that they reduce the frame rate. If the frame rate was reduced to 15fps, all fast movement on videos would look jerky and this is not the case.
-
24p doesn't work on youtube :-\
they downconvert it to 15fps.

The camera is not 24P but I used Magix MEP12 to simulate 24P. Still resorts to 30i anyway but I had a trick to make the movement look "dreamy". This simu-test was still not "it."...
