John Sweeney investigates the beliefs of Mitt Romney, the man most likely to take on Barack Obama later this year, and asks whether America is ready for a Mormon president.

Sweeney travels to Utah to examine the appeal of the world's fastest growing religion. He meets the stars of its expensive ad campaign 'I'm a Mormon', who tell him of their dedication to family and charity. He meets polygamists, followers of an old Mormon tradition the official Church has turned its back on, he talks to missionaries who recruit people around the world just like Mitt Romney in the sixties, finds ex-members who claim they are cut off from their families and accuse Mormonism of being a cult, and he explores the faith with a Mormon apostle.

Holland's answers about Joseph Smith's false translation of Egyptian were very weak...but as it's false I guess he could do more than try to brush the problem aside. At 29.16 Holland denies Romney swore an oath not to pass on the secrets of the temple. He must have know that this was NOT true and probably hoped the interviewer would move on instead of staying on topic. Withholding the truth is not doing a great job in an interview.

Most Mormons were brainwashed into believing the religion when they were children. They were hypnotized into believing the cultish nonsense at an age when they were too young to properly understand it.

Mitt Romney was brainwashed as a child and, as a result, is still a mormon today because he hasnt been able to shake the mental virus off. This is how religion survives generation after generation- by brainwashing children

It's incredibly weird to know that the leaders continually go before the members having seen the evidence destroying mormonism. If they really believed in God, you would think they would be concerned about what he will have to say about them leading a false religion.

How do you know they are each given a million dollars?

The Mormon church still teaches polygamy. It is in their scriptures. Joseph Smith and Brigham Young both married 14 year old girls. They were pedophiles and child molesters. If these men were alive today, they would both be in prison with Warren Jeffs. I don't know how anyone could ever follow such men.
