Baby Ava Isabella

This is a video of a beautiful first moment.

Zion is only 3 years old, therefore it is
difficult at times to understand her words.
I've included the dialog in this conversation down below in case you need to read along to help understand what Zion is saying.
After just meeting her baby sister Ava Isabella, Zions reaction is caught on tape when she hears Ava cry for the first time.

My sister Melodie (Mother to Zion and Ava) along with my parents and my sister Natalie, try to help explain to Zion that it is okay when babies cry.

Melodie: Remember babies cry, b/c they can't talk, so they cry. Babies are supposed to cry

Zion: (starts to moan w/ worry) Get the baby, Get the baby, the baby's crying, get the baby.

Mom: It's okay that the baby's crying.

Melodie: Babies are supposed to cry, they're just babies.

Zion: The baby's got a Boo Boo.

Mom: Where? There's no boo boo.

Melodie: She's crying b/c she woke up. She's probably hungry.

Zion: It's okay baby sister Ava Isabella, It's okay baby (repeats 6x)

Ava: *stops crying*

All: There Good job zion, you made her stop crying, Good job, I think she likes you.

Zion: I'm NICE to baby, I'm not mean to the baby. I said to the baby like this, *makes silly noise to Ava*
The baby's laughing b/c she loves this game. (giggles)
Look! My baby's laughing b/c she likes me!

Dad: She DOES like you. You made her laugh.

Zion: *giggles* laugh baby, you can do it laugh. My baby's laughing, she's laughing and she's laughing and-----LOOK! The baby's opened her eyes! Now the baby can play with her Teddy bear.

Dad: She was looking at you.

Zion: Here baby! It's a teddy bear!

Natalie: She's got her eyes open?

Zion: Ya, she has her eyes opened.

Mom: Are there bugs in there? (referring to earlier when Zion saw sleep in Avas eyes and said she had "bugs in her eyes"

Zion: NO.

Mom: Oh good.

Zion: Here play with your teddy bear! My baby sister Ava Isabella LOVES her teddy bear VERY much.

Mom: Very much.

Ava: *burps*

Mom: Oooh she burped. Did you hear that?

Zion: EEEeew! *giggles* You're funny Ava Isabella *giggles*

Natalie: I think we're gonna call her Isabella.

Melodie: I think Zion's gonna call her Ava Isabella.

Mom: That's her name now.

Zion: The baby's TIRED. Mommy, my baby wants to go night night now.

They're sooo cute!!!but why the name Zion? That's the same naming your child osama.

How so? Zion is a mountain in Israel...Osama is an arabic name.

They're complete opposites. Israel and Iran aren't in alliance with each other how is that the same thing?

Either way, it's my niece...I didn't name her Zion, but I do think it's a BEAUTIFUL name. don't you?
