  • @thejaydoh honey was once enjoyed by the rich figs, dates, and other fruits high in natural sugars were rich in carbs. im trying to redo my diet cuz i think we need both carbs and protein in good amounts. ive always done high protein diets and my mind gets so retardedly clouded when i ate more carbs like veggies sweet potatoes my mental clarity was improved... but i began looking shitty and brittle (hair skin) cuz it was a low protein diet. my goal is to mix the two carbs+protein.

  • @thejaydoh

how they had carbs? they had i belive the "complex carbs" wich was the fruits and veggies the good thing about carbs (not bullshit google results stuff i tested in my life) is that its good for ur mental health (if not taken in excess). To many carbs and u risk diabetes, to little, and u may get sluggish. Carbs are in everything even meat has sugars and fats. If u want the scrientific explanation - ur brain needs glucose, gets it from sugar(carbs), so carbs help fuel mind

  • I dont get it. Explain to me how are ancestors got a hold of carbs? Did they create pasta out of grain? Or did they just much on Berrys all day long? I think theres a reason our appendix is now rendered useless. Because once Caveman discovered how tasty Meat was (Protein) They said, to hell with the twigs. Lets catch some more Buffalo!

  • wtf! low carb diets are the healthiest diet for most people. try a high fat/ moderate protein/low carb diet for maintaining or losing fat.

u must eat good fats btw if you want to lose body fat.

  • carbohydrates is only your main source of fuel if that's what you eat most. your body likes fat just fine, especially your pancreas.

i'm left with the impression that most people that spew this crap about "high protein" diets (they're really referring to low carb eating) have never eaten low carb/high fat.

look for gary taubes in google videos if you want more insightful information.

  • the goverment seems to think food is a one size fits all. If that was the case we would all be the same size. we all need different and our bodies can tolerate different foods thats the key to ending obesity!

  • Finally following any diet for the short term only brings short term results. I find it funny that anyone would suggest a dieter following a particular approach to return to old eating patterns a recipe for weight loss disaster.

  • That's one of the reasons the Atkins Diet is a high fat, moderate protein diet.

Where this video deviates from the truth is when it starts talking about carbohydrates and their necessity. The body through gluconeogenesis is able to produce whatever carbs are needed, and personally after 5 years my brain and other organs haven't needed more than 30-50g per day.

I am sorry you are off base with your low fat approach. I would encourage watching my videos to clear up the misconceptions.
