Prefab Sprout, performing 'Goodbye Lucille #1' (from the album 'Steve McQueen') on an as-yet-unidentified TV programme. This was sent in by Jason Lefler, converted to DVD by Mick Lynch, and has been brought to you by www.prefabsprout.net
Further clarification: It was The Big Tube: "A live, five-hour pop special from Newcastle, presented by Paula Yates, Muriel Gray and special guest Malcolm McLaren" (Jools Holland was in the US, touring with Squeeze - hence his absence). Prefab Sprout were live in the studio, along with Melon, Stephen 'Tin Tin' Duffy, and Dexy's Midnight Runners. 8pm til 1.15am."

I remember listening to this in the 80s just after a break up - kind of stuck in my mind for the past 30 years or so ! Still as relevant
