Plaquemine, La. 2009 4th of July Boat Parade

Here is a video I took of the 4th of July boat parade in 2009 from my residence on Bayou Plaquemine.The parade starts at the public landing near the Enterprise Bridge, and proceeds about 2.5 miles up bayou to the park at the locks. The people around here are very patriotic and always look for a reason to throw a good party. Even in the sweltering heat of a summer day in south Louisiana, everyone in town goes down to the locks where there is a big celebration with bands, food, and fireworks.
