Hey, first off to all you guys talking trash...I was in this band, and unfortunately ashamed to be so. What happens here is we have a tiny budget, so we can't get a professional drill writer. Secondly, our director is a concert percussionist who probably has never been in a marching band his entire life.

Thirdly, students don't really get a say in what is ultimately the directors choice for music and drill. We were all caught up in a stupid bureaucracy that places sometimes unqualified music majors in charge, when a person from another walk of life may be a million times better. I hated performing this lame-ass drill more than you hate watching it. So instead of telling us how shitty we are, just remember, things are different in college.

The drill in this video (Walk This Way) was written by our director. We hadn't been able to start writing the drill as soon as necessary because the numbers kept fluctuating, which, of course, is common for marching bands, but obviously the block drill was not everyone's first choice.

Wow all you people are pretty stuck up about your marching bands. We do this for FUN. Not for competitive reasons and whatever. I was apart of this band and never marched in my life. Half of the students haven't.
