i am also certified. good job on the spinal

watching this made me think that there was too much on the speed and not on the tech side of this exersize. in real life with the way that the board was lifted out of the water would of resulted in injury to the LGs and the casutly as sliding the board flat as posable would of reduse the change of droping it.

everything was good until the end, should have put the board on the lower ledge to keep it more level, and don't let the tube slip back out of place.

@leanne4caro yeah, your wrong on this one. They did it almost perfect and 90 % of lifeguards usually F it up pretty easy, these two did it fantastic and if I was injured I would be completely confident being under their care in a spinal. It was quick but not sloppy and it was effective and safe. You may do it differently but that doesn't mean that everyone else's way is wrong, your way could be right also. But this way was fantastic. Great job on the Spinal.

Don't let the geeks get you down. Training is different but is also standardised. The principals are the important thing as real life is never the same!

This is wrong and im so disgusted youtubeshould have in big capitals on HOW NOT TO DO A SPINAL RESCUE. THINK about the 4 Ps, PRESERVE LIFE, PREVENT FURTHER INJURY, well as soon as he done that turn the casualty would have gone from possibly being monopl to being quite serverely being tetrapl and PREMOTE RECOVERY, by the time you did that lift out you would of sent the casualty into shock and cardic arrest b4 you had time to get defib or PHONE 999.

@leanne4caro im glad you are disgusted and honestly i dont care (just like stated in description. Can you grasp the concept that most training is different. "4P's?", never heard of that. so stick to what you do and i'll do the same. thanks
