http://www.premierguitar.com PG's Joe Coffey is On Location in Stevensville, MD, for Experience PRS 2009 where he catches up with tonehound Dweezil Zappa. In this interview, Dweezil talks about exploring PRS' wood shop, finding the ideal woods for his one-off guitar and stumbling across an amazing feat of nature - a naturally combined flame and quilted maple piece of wood, which Dweezil uses for the body. In addition, he talks about using a PRS guitar for the very first time during Zappa Playing Zappa's performance at Experience PRS.

  • @sportsportsport My friend, I got TWO now :-))

  • @brianwurst1234 He didn't mean the curls or stripes themselves, but the fact that there are two different types of flames/curls on one guitar. And it does kind of look like a "mistake", but in a cool way.

  • So at 2.28 what's he doing - pretending to be Les Paul playing a log?

    Pillock!

  • @TheSterlingSound

He speaks like his dad but the timber of his voice is very very different.

  • I like it when things naturally occur in nature.

  • Didn't they feature this wood in the wood tour? I hope they come out with a V
