Not every British band in the mid-60's had quick success in the U.S like The Beatles or The Rolling Stones, and The Fortunes were an example. After four releases that never charted, this group led by Rod Allen on vocals finally found a winner with "You've Got Your Troubles" which peaked at #7 in September of 1965.

  • Very well crafted superb song a true classic.

  • ...Back in the day when ever I got to ride in the car with my Pop he would

...always have me turn the radio on very LOW...but somehow when this song

...came on he would say to me turn it up louder...

  • I seem to remember that, in the days of offshore radio, Radio London (or possibly Radio Caroline) used this track as a code for the supply boat to come out when they'd run short of something, or they had some other kind of problem aboard.

  • @acftus Glen is my uncle. Which band were they in together?

  • Glen Dale, who was a member of the group when this came out, used to be in a band with my brother playing around Kent in the early 60s.

They both had the chance to join The Fortunes, my brother decided not to!!!!!!
