"Ole' Blue" the BOSS 302 running at Grattan Raceway


ride was harsh, but strangely didn't make me feel sick at all, so i liked it :), car in unbearably load from the outside, not so bad on the inside. It also sounds a bit better in real life, but I hope the video can give it justice

Sorry about piss poor camera work, seat started coming unhinged on the right hand side while i was riding in the car

that thing would NEVER keep up with a Z06. remember, this is a rustang. performance and speed aint gonna happen with a ford.

lol, i know that if you compare only laptimes the Z06 does eat this particular car around this particular track. Its something like 1:25 for a Z06 compare to 1:35-1:40ish in this car, but having been passenger in this car i would still take it over a Z06, dollar for dollar atleast.

Not sure about numbers, but whether it was down to the sticky rubber, the gearing, or the engine the car would do a good 130-140mph on the front straight, so somewhere in between the performance index of a regular Vette and a Z06. at least in a straight line :D

In the corners it wasn't nearly as fast as say a full on NASA or SCCA racecar, but then the car was built more as a badass toy designed to scare woman and children, rather then a all out racer.

@hotrods100 and a Z06 is how many years ahead of this? try comparing that Z06 against a shelby type65, the shebly would shit all over it yet its still a ford, in fact it shits all over almost any car with the exception of the very special super cars.

@hotrods100: Now personally. I like both Ford and Chevy equally. But when you compare cars in their same year and generation. The Ford GT was the better and faster car in 06. And 06 Ford GT vs. an 06 C6 Z06. Of course the current ZR-1 is faster because its an 09. Now if you compare muscle cars. Ford's best is faster than chevy's best right now. Which is the GT500 vs. the Camaro SS. So lets just see what Chevy does with the highly speculated Z28.
