We The People is a new series examining the issues weighing heavily on US voters in the lead up to one of the most hotly contested presidential elections in years.

By traveling the country and meeting the people whose lives are most affected we look forward to the post election nation.

In the first episode we go to Dayton, Ohio, a state that has lost thousands of well paying manufacturing jobs.

  • Hows that HOPE AND CHANGE working for you?? Elections have consequences. You make america work, not the burecrats in washington. Start a business, or move to a new location. You can do it, THINK POSITIVE. Dont get down on your self, you're better than that.

  • Re-evaluate how harder means. Trades originated among surplus and deficits. In modern economy, deficits accumulate to some extends that we flood everything into the so-called free market system disregarding health, family and environmental values. Migrant jobs would only make work getting harder and worse. our escape is to claim back the governing powers then trade on living standards, not dollar. Non-profit organizations must take civil duties to network worldwide for idea-trade and research.

  • Health care in Alberta was 44 a month. As of Jan 1 09 it will be free :)

  • what are you talking about???

  • It's down to 44 a month in Alberta. In 4 years it will be free.

  • good reporting....this is happening in Illinois as well...workers in their 50's are hit the hardest because of age, health, and 37% needs their GED.

  • It´s time for the American workers to work as hard as the workers from other nations work.

  • He states that he drives a corolla (you can also see the corolla at the time) that is 11 years old. See time 08:59.

  • Universal Healthcare. The private insurance corpeatiobs posted assets in excess of 200 billion in 06, In Canada for a single person i was paying for complete coverage 97 a month and with a full family coverage it was 168 bucks a month, My wife here in the states pays minus her employers copay is 128 which does not allow for decutble or user costs. Health care should be covered in our taxes in whole, Rehab in the NWO is a myth,

  • yeah, but he was driving red truck earlier, may be he has two cars.
