Includes 48k music! Although the Spectrum version lacks color depth and a bit of speed I still say it is overall a slightly better game than Commodore 64 version. Simply because the Spectrum version delivers in terms of gameplay and is more faithful to the original arcade coin-op (incl. how the objects animate, fight and react to each other). My feeling from Commodore version is that the sprites are rather optimized to look hires and colourful than deliver good bunch of punches and kicks. Instead of face-to-face action you are jumping and kicking around the screen like crazy - not really how the gameplay should perform in Dragon Ninja. Luckily, the Spectrum port offers nice animations with huge face2face kicks and punches and all that found in the arcade original. Really enjoyable, though I admit Speccy could have done a lot better job here (Jonathan Smith?).
Cool music! I just did a video of the C64 version couple days ago! :)

I fucking love the music on this game!

I had this on the 64 and you're right, it didn't play very well at all. The collision detection was all over the place and it didn't have the feel of the arcade original. This version is a lot slower though.

I loved this game back then but your right the speccy could have been so much more. Love the music though, best part of the game of me.

Ouch...Music is same as Amstrad CPC (of course) but game is soo different.
CPC lack the soft scrolling, but is a hell of a good game, despite the loosy sprites designs.
But yeah, this one could have been better if it was an Amstrad port on Speccy...lol.
