This is footage of Edinburgh's Mad Monk of the Cowgate caught on CCTV. It was shown on Channel 5's "CCTV Cities Hogmanay Special".

The footage was shot from the TV on Mrs Woo's old phone and sent by pigeon from Kirkcaldy to Edinburgh (via Dalkeith) to be uploaded by web wizard Derek I. N. Stores.
