Fire Emblem: The Goddess of Dawn

This is the first footage of Fire Emblem: The Goddess of Dawn for the Nintendo Wii. Much better looking than the Gamecube game, but in battle fights are sadly turned off, so no major critiquing can be made.

This video debuted at the Japanese Wii event.

Why do you have "Square" and "Final Fantasy" in the tags?

I like how, unlike the Gamecube game, the characters in this title dont have to follow the path outlined when making moves on the grid. In Path of Radiance, if you moved up two squares, right one, and then up two, and then right one, the character would move the same. Now they simply move to the selected square.

Looks like a great game so far!

BTW: Laura (the priest) IS SO DAMN ANNOYING. She heals so BADLY i sell all my staves and i hate her so much i made her suicide as soon as she got Aran. SCREW HER. (i never gave her any staves.)

i just wish this preview didnt have the battle animations turned off.

all the pics ive seen of the Battle anims look really cool tho so dont worry!
