thanks for sharing these pictures! it looks like you had so much fun, i have always watned to go to a wax museum for some reason, haha. you and your mom seem really close, i love that. it makes me sad when people my age (17) don't appreciate their parents

That looked like a lot of fun, but that wax museum gave me a "House of Wax" vibe. They look so real.

ohh you looked like you had lots of fun :) just out of curiosity did you run at all when you were in NY and if not did you find it anxiety provoking in any way?

I actually did not run while I was there. My mom and I walked a lot and I took the stairs where ever I went (even twice in the hotel, but only twice because we were on the 17th floor!). It was perfect timing because my right arch in my foot had been bothering me so I needed to rest it so that I wouldn't get injured and be unable to run for months. I ended up taking 3 weeks off from running but when I was back home I did do some spin classes at my gym to keep in shape. Over all it was good...

sarah4444xc (uploader) because I saw that I can be ok even if I am unable to run for a period of time. We were only in NYC for 4 days so it wasn't too long. But I was proud of myself for going 4 days without exercise (aside from lots of walking in the city :) ). But to answer your question, I actually felt less anxiety than I expected because part of me felt really good that I was able to give my foot the rest it needed and now I am almost back to running what I was before. Take care!
